This series that I accidentally stumbled upon was so good from the first book to the last. This author kills it in the romantic suspense genre.

I have been looking forward to Ana's story and hot damn it didn't disappoint. I was glued from beginning to end. FBI agent Cash Knox had secrets of his own and they were some doozies. Both characters are damaged and connected in ways they shouldn't be, but the connection is undeniable. The storyline was edge of your seat and the chemistry was off the charts.

I'm sad to see the series end but looking forward to more from this great author!

I've been reading this author for years. This is another nailbiting adventure filled with horror, anger, love, guilt, manipulation, desire, broken lives, rebuilt and reclaimed lives. Outstanding.
Still too much similarity with the others books in the series but I found this one to be better written and the story more believable than Asher's story. So tired of the knife scenario and the cutting business.
I really enjoyed this series. I like how while the main character is the focus of each story, the supporting characters (main characters from past books) are still an integral part of each book. I thought the length of the sex scenes was unnecessary but I was able to skim over them. The characters and story line is what kept my interest.
Just when I thought this would end without one of the main characters getting shot in the chest, CE falls back to the same ol' same ol' as almost every other book she's written. Same formula, basically same characters, different names. Always an enjoyable read at the time but then easily forgotten afterwards. I prefer her paranormal stories.
I started with novel five and found I have fallen for the series. Now I need to backtrack to the first release. I enjoyed the novel because they tend to stand alone without needing to read in sequence. Great read for readers whom enjoy the thrill of not knowing the killer or killers to the very end.
I read the bad reviews and although everyone has a right to their opinion, mine is I don't agree with them. I loved this series and all the characters. I enjoy the style of writing of this author very much and glad I took the chance. Some of the reviews said same stories and they do run along the same background but she adds new into each story. The books kept me hooked to the point I couldn't put them down. Hoping there will be more in this series, hate to not know what happen to Murphy!
Another great book! I love this series and this author. She is diffently one of my top go to authors. Love all her books but her romantic suspense books are exceptional. If you haven't read any of her books yet, do. You won't be disappointed.
